Not that I have any readers yet so I’m not quite sure who I am writing to but I thought I might start out by introducing myself. My name is Justine. I’m 29 years old…aka 20-something which is something that I’m considering hanging onto for a little longer. I plan on having a big party in May to celebrate my twenty-tenth birthday. We’ll see who buys that.
Anyway, I live in Los Angeles and I will be getting hitched to Gary, the most wonderful man in the world (no offense to the rest of you men out there) this coming October. The wedding will be in DC where I grew up. I should also add that I’m a wedding photographer so I’m sort of over the whole traditional wedding thing. I’ve seen it all. Not that a traditional wedding can’t be totally beautiful and romantic and amazing, I’m just looking for something a little different for my own wedding. And that’s what this whole blog is about…planning an un-wedding for an un-bride. I’m sure there are other unbrides out there and I want to hear from all of you and all of the ridiculous, kooky details of your own weddings. Email me at unbride@theunbride.com.
