What a relief to be able to announce this morning that I bought a wedding dress yesterday! Chelsea and I drove an hour and a half down to Corona Del Mar to go to this shop I found online called The White Dress. We had a great feeling about it as soon as we walked in, it was open and airy and all of the gowns were on display. I also felt like they had a really great selection, plenty to choose from but not so many that it was overwhelming. An adorable irish girl named Charlotta was helping us both in and out of our dresses and actually selected the one that Chelsea ended up buying, this fabulous Melissa Sweet.
As it turns out, Gary is uncomfortable seeing what dress I’ve chosen. I came home dying to show him pictures and he just doesn’t want to see them. So that he doesn’t stumble upon the dress here on the blog, here is the link so that all of my unbride friends can see it. My Dress
We celebrated by having a glass of champagne while still wearing the dresses. What a great great place though. Any brides in southern California should definitely go check out The White Dress.

One of the weddingbee’s wore that VW dress, Mrs. Strawberry. It will be interesting to see how the dress looks on a completely different bride in a different setting. I bookmarked the picture a long time ago, what a fabulous choice!

great choice. VW has really nice stuff…in fact as I recently did some registry window shopping I realised you can have a full VW wedding haha – there’s so many things she designs which I like!
