Sorry I’ve been gone for SOOOO long! I was in DC to shoot 4 weddings in a row and have been busy actually planning my wedding rather than blogging about it since we are in the home stretch.
So what updates do I have? I finally bought a pair of shoes (which I had been stressing over for months). And the winner is:
The Mary Janes by Kate Spade

I ordered them from zappos.com and they were the last pair in my size. I actually ordered them a 1/2 size too big so that I could fit some foot petals in there for a little cushion. I’ve been wearing them around the house a bit and so far they are pretty comfy. I still plan to have them taken down by 1/2 inch and to buy a back-up pair of shoes to change into during the reception in case my feet are killing me.
What else has happened? Our save-the-date t-shirts finally went out. Boy were those a labor of love…
I sent them out in black “glamour” mailers from Uline and attached the laminated tags with safety pins to the t-shirts.

Oh yeah and one more thing, our wedding website is finally up, www.justineandgary.com. I couldn’t find any wedding websites that were edgy enough so I did a template site instead. Of course there are no pictures of us yet since we haven’t gotten around to doing engagement portraits yet. We’re supposed to shoot sometime with the fabulous Jessica Claire but things got busy and we had to put that project on the back burner for the time being. Jess, if you’re reading this, let’s set it up.

Our Wedding For Uplifting Gormandizers (just a version of CBGB’s “Other Music For Uplifting Gormandizers”)
We just guesstimated everyone’s sizes and figured if it doesn’t fit, then too bad, it could have been a magnet instead.

The website is from http://www.bludomain.com. They are really designed as websites for photographers but I figured why not a wedding site?

The Wizard made the t-shirts.
The Wizard is the best kept secret in the tv and film biz. Anytime you see a t-shirt, embroidery, patch or silkscreened logo in a film or tv show it is from The Wizard. Today he told me he is doing all the PE shirts for the new Beverly Hills 90210 series. So, when you see the characters in gym class, those are his shirts.
City Print printed, laminated and cut the tags. They are on Wilshire and Detroit.
