When I first discovered Kaiya Eve pettiskirts, I almost wanted to adopt a little girl just so that I could dress her up in these things. While that idea may have been a little bit extreme, instead I decided that my flower girls would have to wear them in my wedding. If these things had existed when I was a little girl, I would have lost my sh*t over them and would have fought my mother every day to let me wear them to school and to play and wherever else I could absolutely trash them.
Anyway, I figured this would be an easy detail to blog about since I’m short on time lately and have about a million different details from my wedding to blog over the next several weeks.
So here they are, my little darlings…Zoe (my 9 year old niece) and Jordan (my cousin Amber’ 2.5 year old cutie).
Here is Zoe showing off my gown.
And Jordan in all of her cuteness before the ceremony.
Zoe has turned out to be quite a photographer. She shot over 900 pictures during our wedding weekend.
Dancing the night away…
LOVE this one! ![]()
So that’s what the little ones in our wedding wore. I just couldn’t imagine having them in prissy little white dresses or looking like miniature versions of me. Believe me, these girls are fashionistas in their regular lives so why not do it up for the wedding, right?
If anyone is interested in these for your own weddings, if you google “pettiskirt” you’ll be presented with a ton of options and lots of different stores and online shops where you can purchase them. Happy shopping!

Love the rock and roll effect that pairing the petticoat with the 3 quarter length black shirt provides. I wish I could pull off black tights so well.

Those pics are just too much! I LOVE them. I picked up a few tutus in fun blues & greens that I was debating having the girls wear, but now I am reconsidering it!

Those little skirts are DARLING!!
But I must know…..
Where did YOUR frock come from? I’ve been drooling over it everytime you post a photo, but I have no idea who made it!
Thanks!
