Okay ladies, hopefully you’ve all had enough of my wedding video now because I am on to new things today, but thank you so much for all of your lovely comments and emails.
Today I’m super excited to introduce to you what looks like the best wedding planner I’ve seen so far.
Check out this brand new company Evotive, and their first product, BE WED. It’s a modern wedding planner and organizer created specifically for today’s socially and environmentally conscious couples.
BE WED is the first eco-friendly wedding planner that’s designed for any budget or gender. The low-profile and sophisticated case contains a comprehensive guide that offers clever (not preachy) insights that inspire (not force) people to make decisions with intent—that’s what makes us different. The conversational tone encourages couples to connect with each other, their community, and the environment.

Inside BE WED you’ll find the following sections which
also include related lists, worksheets and timelines:
Vision
Ceremony
Reception
Communication
Gifts
Music
Flowers
Attire
Images
Legal
Be Connected
I managed to plan my own wedding without the help of any kind of organizer because all of the ones that I saw seemed either totally unhelpful, dumbed down or just generally lame and a waste of paper. I would have changed my mind if BE WED had been available to me a year ago.
But one of my very lucky readers is going to receive their very own copy for free, courtesy of Jenna & Kathleen, the master minds behind this very awesome product.
So if you’re planning your wedding or know someone who could benefit from this, leave a comment below and we’ll randomly select a winner on Friday. Good luck everyone!

I would love one of these! Everything I’ve seen in bookstores is so stuffy or overly complicated.

Wow! That sounds great! My mother in law gave me a wedding planner from about 6 years ago, and its really outdated, however, I haven’t wanted to spend the money on a new one. (I am still in college, and have to pay for half my wedding…ha ha…so I am a little short on change)
I love that the opening chapter of this book is “Vision,” because I have been engaged since May and I am still trying to put together my vision. It has been the hardest part yet!!! Thanks for considering me for the drawing! When will you pick a winner??

At this point, I feel like I can use all the help I can get! I love the look of this planner — simple, eco-friendly, and not overly done up in tulle/ribbon/bows. So perfect.

This looks really cool. Both my fiance Bryan and I would be happy to use that. He has been such a help so far and I would love to have something related to wedding planning that wasn’t so girly.

What a great giveaway. I have yet to put together an organizer, as I have either Walmart or Staples to choose from here… and neither have anything useful.

I bought one from Borders, but the lists and worksheets weren’t what I was expecting. I live by lists so a great one would be awesome.

I love this – it’s so practical while still being stylish (and eco-friendly)!! I’ve always thought these organization/inspiration books would be a great heirloom to give to a daughter or daughters-in-law. As I’m having a 09 destination wedding all my worksheets, timelines and mood/inspirations boards have been virtual so I can email them to vendors, but would love to have a hard-copy both for now and as a keepsake.

I would love to own this book. I am doing my best to plan an eco-friendly wedding and would love the additional insight offered in “be wed”… in addition, I have several friends who are a little behind me in their planning process and I would love to copy a few pages or hand them sections that I’ve already planned to share in the fun. thanks so much!

This is exactly what I need. I feel as though the more I look, the further I get from a decision! I have seen so many beautiful things that I love, but none of them ‘go together’ and I cannot seem to get a picture in my head of how things will look.
I need something to inspire me to get organised!

My dear nephew & his love just graduated from Carlton College and are both in grad school while planning their wedding for this winter. This would speak to their needs. I agree with your view of the other planners.

This looks like an awesome planner! I agree that so many of the planners out there just don’t ’speak’ to many of today’s brides…I would love to have this one!

I think this planner expresses many of the thoughts I’ve had while planning my June 2009 wedding. I want to stay calm, and I want to feel relaxed because I have been organized and efficient in my planning. This looks like a fantastic tool for achieving my desirable level of calm and relaxation as I move into the six months before my wedding!

Love it! I’m feeling quite scattered at this point, putting together our 2009 (Aug or Sept) wedding.
We’re an eco-conscious couple getting married on a wildlife preserve, using a local, organic caterer. As of now, my organization consists of random scraps of paper and several inspiration folders on my laptop (including a photo of your gorgeous dress!). An organizational tool would be a welcome breath of fresh air! While I’d be happy to receive it, I’m sure any of the commentors are worthy recipients, as we’re all wrapped up in the stress (and fun!) of wedding planning.

We’re just in the very beginning stages pf planning, so this would be perfect to get us thinking about all the different steps along the way. To be honest, I’m feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment.
