That’s right – love it or hate it, this season the 80’s are here to stay. Although you may be stocked up on sequins and Hammer pants in your real life, it appears that bridal hasn’t come away unscathed; case in point, this ‘gown’ by Lanvin. But breathe easy, as I certainly don’t expect you to replicate this ensemble verbatim for your own trip down the aisle (unless of course that’s your thing, then by all means rock it out). I do think it lends not only an element of ‘current (retro?) cool’, but also inspiration for those of you Unbrides looking to work in a little Madonna (before she was British, i.e.‘Desperately Seeking Susan’) or Souxsie Sioux. You could always just have your first dance be to “Like A Prayer.” Food for thought…
