So my dear fiance is back from Oslo, where he is living for the time being, and we are headed to Nantucket this weekend for a round of wedding planning. In preparation we put together this mini-inspiration board, but would love some help elaborating on it. We are thinking beachy, but elegant. This is what we have so far (I love the aesthetic of the Chanel 2010 cruise runway show, where the first image came from).
This weekend we will be working on details like menu, table linens and flowers so any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

So funny you should ask! I did a board on our blog for a dear friend of mine who got engaged and they are HUGE into Nantucket. It is a “Beachy Blue” theme, which is a little different than what you have featured above, but still super elegant. Check it out here:

Your inspiration palette reminds me of the end of 27 dresses. Also I was at Ikea last weekend and I saw these – http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50102911 – you could fill them with yellow roses or carnations and if you had long tables, and you could alternate them with candles, and you could add table runners, maybe in a soft white/gray brocade to run down the middle. You could also do these http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20107137 painted white and filled with something.
