We are celebrating the relaunch of the Unbride blog with a bunch of awesome giveaways from our Unbride friends. The first one is courtesy of the lovely Kirstin Fox of Castle Bride Couture. Kirstin has agreed to give one lucky reader a birdcage veil of her choice. Here are a few pictures I shot of some of her fabulous designs.

Just leave a comment below. Visit the Castle Bride site and tell us which veil is your favorite and when your wedding date is. We just ask that you share your wedding pictures with us when you get them. Sound good?
Here is a picture from my wedding day (courtesy of Greg Gibson)…I wore the Marilyn veil.

Kaitlyn Says:
Oh my goodness! I LOVE the Jamie veil. I have been looking for a birdcage veil ever since I got engaged in November of 2008. And let me say: I haven’t just been browsing. I have been actively searching high and low for one and I haven’t been able to find a darn one that I even remotely like! I was at the point where I was ready to go without a veil – which I don’t want to do, but I had given up on finding “the one.” Then I stumbled upon this (awesome) blog and saw that gorgeous Jamie veil – that’s “the one!!!” Of course there aren’t any stores that carry it near me so I was thrilled to see that you are having a contest for one! I would be so delighted and honored to wear it in my wedding and I’d be more than happy to send pictures of myself in it! I’m getting married on October 25, 2009. I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed – you just may be my saving grace. It’s either this or I’ll be walking down the aisle veil-less! -Kaitlyn

I love the simplicity of the Nicole veil and the chenile dots give it a playful edge. I have a vintage topaz and pearl brooch my Grammy left for me when she passed away two years ago and what would be nice about the Nicole veil is that I could add this personal touch to it without it looking too busy.

Both the Catherine and the Melbourne are screaming to me! My wedding is March 20,2010 and I have already been on the search for months for the perfect birdcage veil! The Catherine combines the elegance of a longer veil with the vintagey look of the traditional birdcage. And the dotted netting would compliment my polka dotted Michelle Roth Maya dress so perfectly!!! However there is something so sexy and stunning about the Melbourne that I just can’t stop looking at it. I think my fiance would LOVE the sultry look that it gives off!

I love the Jamie veil! My wedding is October 16, 2010 in Washington, DC at the Hotel Monaco. We picked the Monaco for it’s eclectic decor in a historic building. I want to mix traditional with some funky flair to match the feeling of the reception and a birdcage veil would be a beautiful way to do it. Plus I have the wonderful Greg Gibson shooting the wedding since Justine’s pictures were so incredible!

I would be one LUCKY girl to win any of these designs and have always envisioned wearing a cage veil at my wedding. The vintage kitchy style of my wedding in Dumbo, Brooklyn on Aug 28, 2010 would be a perfect backdrop for one of your PERFECT veils, so keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks for the opportunity and keep making beautiful pieces – you rock.
