I wonder how many brides out there have the guts to wear their glasses on their wedding day? Seems like everyone’s wearing contacts these days but I was delighted to shoot the wedding (along with my pals from SOTA Dzine) of my good friend Lisa Loeb back in January. Not only did she wear this totally adorable pink gown by Amsale but she also wore the glasses that she’s so well known for. And just yesterday she launched her own line of eyewear through Classique. Perfect for all of you Unbrides who just want to be yourselves, glasses and all.

I love when brides choose to wear their glasses with their dress and veil. It’s always strange to see someone who’s always got specs without them on that one day. Lisa’s are adorable!

I wear glasses since I was 13, and although I’ve tried to use lenses this year, I didn’t get comfortable with it. Plus, my boyfriend loves when I’m wearing them, so I’m pretty sure I’m gonna surprise him by using a gorgeous glasses on our wedding!

I’m blind as a bat and where my glasses 90% of the time, but I don’t plan on wearing them for the ceremony. For one, they’re orange. Also, I’m planning on actually wearing eye makeup and I want people to see it!

that’s so cool that brides are wearing their glasses more! I’ve work glasses all my life, and up until about 5-7 years ago, it seemed to be an issue, but nowadays its like a fashion statement!

Love this! I love to wear my glasses – I won’t wear them for the wedding, but I love when brides have a fun pair to sport on the day!

I’m wearing my glasses, but they’re not the stylish kind and I don’t have the kind of face that goes well with bold glasses. What I’m more concerned about is figuring out the best style for my fine, fly-away hair that won’t fly-away but will accentuate the length AND won’t make me look like the librarian that I am. Hair tips for brides with glasses, anyone?
