Did anyone else adore Lea Michele’s Romonza Keveza Grammy gown as much as I did? So elegant and beautiful. I think you can defo step away from the traditional wedding dress and step into a gown – this is exactly what I’m working on with a client at the moment. She wants to wear her wedding dress again and again and with a gown you really can!

Wearing white was never part of my plans (I’m Indian – we don’t wear white wedding gowns) but I did want to wear a fabulous gown so I worked with a local designer to come up with a gorgeous violet and magenta concoction. It looked like a cross between the gowns worn by Sandra Bullock (colors, fabric) and Emily Blunt (shape, draping) and so many of my friends commented that they wished they could have worn something like what I wore – why couldn’t they! There’s no rule that you have to wear white!
