This invitation or unvitation, came to us from a dear friend of ours. Don’t know how she stumbled upon it, but it tells the story of how this couple Jill and Matt met, dated, moved, visited, and courted across 48,284 miles before…tying the knot. Their story is unique. The way they decided to tell it is so inspirational it makes a great post even though they were married in 2008. Also, the typography is pretty slammin’.

I stumbled upon this maybe 5 months ago while fruitlessly trying to come up with a DIY invite design that was “us.” I saw this, and ti was like a light went off. We LOVE words! We’re word people, we’re not swirl and flourish people! We have a kooky loe story too!

We totally copied them (and threw in some Mad Libs rsvps for good measure, and people LOVE them (or HATE them, but we choose to listen only to those who love them.

I wish I could send a thank you note to Jill + Matt.
