ABOUT JUSTINE

As a wedding photographer, I’ve been totally immersed in the wedding business since 2003. In fact, considering that I grew up the daughter of a wedding photographer, my education started long before that. Needless to say, I’ve seen quite an evolution in the wedding industry since the early 90’s when I started paying attention.

When it was time for me to plan my own wedding, I was almost 30 years old and just a little bit jaded over the idea of the treatment of the wedding day as a fantasy. Any reference to a “fairy tale wedding” prompted in me a gag reflex and uncontrollable eye-rolling. So I decided that I had to do it a little bit differently, make it all about our personality as a couple…and The Unbride Blog was born.

ABOUT ELLEN

Married for over a decade, re-entry to the world of weddings has been something new. I am a New York trained designer, so the tired and traditional will not catch my eye. It is the unique and unusual, the well played conceptual themes that tell these individualized love stories and can move me to tears (and sometimes applause). I am so grateful to Justine for asking me to be a part of the UnBride. It is a chance to inspire and to be inspired everyday.
