About Austin: I began my photography career photographing bands and was published nationally for my music work. I absolutely love portrait work and I spend a lot of my personal time photographing portraits of every day people I encounter. I love the ability of a photograph to suggest a story or instill a feeling of mystery or curiosity. Some of my favorite photographs are straight forward portraits that make the viewer wonder about the life behind the face.

I have recently transitioned into weddings and love the documentary style of photography that weddings allow me, as well as photographing beautiful bridal portraits! I am running the contest so that I can transition into creative weddings while keeping the same fine art approach that I use in photographing bands and personal projects. My goal is to attract a very specific type of DIY/unique wedding/vintage wedding. You can check out his work at austinwarnock.com

2.  Give a brief description of the details/location/what it is that makes your wedding unique

Well Ellen did such an adorable job of giving away the Fit & Fabulous book yesterday and I was supposed to do something adorable to give away the veil. But I’m in DC right now shooting weddings, engagements, pregnancy, boudoir and family sessions AND going to parties…so exhausting. So basically my excuse is that I didn’t have time or any more creative energy left to think of a cute way to give away the veil from Castle Bride Couture.

Usually when I’m at home in LA, I randomly ask The Husbandto “pick a number” and unknowingly he selects a winner for my giveaways. So since I’m in DC right now I enlisted my dad to help instead.

So I’m happy to announce that Carly is the winner of the veil. Here’s what Carly had to say…”I love the simplicity of the Nicole veil and the chenille dots give it a playful edge. I have a vintage topaz and pearl brooch my Grammy left for me when she passed away two years ago and what would be nice about the Nicole veil is that I could add this personal touch to it without it looking too busy.”

Congratulations Carly!!!!

Stay tuned…more giveaways and fun stuff coming soon!
